MOLE FACTS
Moles are insectivores with worms being their main source of food.
Moles can tunnel up to 150 feet per day! Mole hills are a result of deep tunnel systems.
Moles eat more than their own weight in earthworms daily. They have very high metabolisms and need to eat constantly.
Michigan has two types of moles: The Eastern Mole and the Star Nosed Mole. Both cause a lot of damage.
Moles will eat grubs but treating for grubs WILL NOT get rid of moles!
Moles do not hibernate, they just move down deep into the ground below the frost line after worms.
